My name is Madison Freeman and I can't wait to connect with you on a personal level and let you in "My Open Door." I have grown up living in Birmingham, AL and there's no place I'd rather be. Growing up in the South has shaped my personality and who I am today. Even though I was born and raised in the south, I have a true free spirit inside of me that influences my style and fashion.

I recently married my best friend, Clinton Freeman, and absolutely love being married. I enjoyed every part of the wedding planning experience (although it can be stressful), and also love planning events for my friends that are embarking on similar journeys just as much.

 

Being a newlywed means building a home with the one you love most. While doing that I discovered a few of my interest include home decor, cooking/ entertainment, and making that "oh so special" cocktail. Making our first house our true home has been such an incredible journey and it has only just begun.

Not only do we enjoy being in our first home sharing memories with friends, we have an itch for adventures with one another. Another purpose of this blog is to share our travel experiences and hopefully lead you to some incredible destinations with your loved ones.

 

Last but not least, I have a passion for fashion. I have always been a very frugal person so shopping for that incredible standout piece on a budget has always been one of my talents. I hope to show you the ins-and-outs of finding stylish clothes while staying within your budget. 

 

I truly love connecting with people and do that in my full-time job as a recruiter. Becoming a recruiter made me finally take the plunge and start my blog because I gained an understanding of how to market things that truly interest people.
