Inside My Open Door

This post will explain to everyone why I started My Open Door! Also, you will get the scoop on what's to come. Come on in, take your shoes off, and stay awhile.

My name is Madison Freeman, and I am so excited to connect with you on a personal level and let you in "My Open Door." The main reason I wanted to start a blog is because I am a newlywed and have so much to share on that experience. Not only did I love planning my wedding, I love planning events for my friends that are embarking on similar journeys. I am excited to share my wedding experience with you and share tips and tricks for planning the best events!

Being a newlywed means building a home with the one you love most (for me, Clinton Freeman). While doing that, I discovered that a strong interest of mine is home decor, cooking/ entertainment, and making that "oh so special" cocktail. Making our first house our true home has been such an incredible journey, and it has only just begun. You will get the full scoop on how we styled our first home and find out where we got each piece!

Not only do we love being in our sweet first home sharing memories with friends, we have an itch for adventures with one another. Another purpose of this blog is to share our travel experiences and hopefully lead you to some incredible destinations with your loved ones.

Last but not least, I have a passion for fashion. I have always been a very frugal person so shopping for that incredible stand out piece on a budget is what I am good at. One thing I am super pumped to share with you is the sites to shop designer looks for under $20.00! Get ready!

I love connecting with people and do that in my full-time job as a recruiter. Working as a recruiter has shown me how important it is to make true connections with people, and I hope I can make that bond with you! I am excited to let you inside "My Open Door." Come on in!
