30A Blogger Getaway
As you guys know, the Santa Rosa Beach area is one of my all time favorite places to visit. Most of the time I travel here with my family, but this past trip was an all-out girls trip. It also may look like it was all fun and games, but we worked our tails off to get the best content for you guys and only spent and hour on the beach.. lol. That said, it was totally worth it because we got to eat at some of our favorite restaurants, hang with the Live Well 30a crew, and spend quality with the gals! I am so excited to share the details on the restaurants where we we dined and the outfits that we wore!
Day 1
The first day on 30a , we spent our time relaxing and catching up with each other! A few of us went to get spray tans at Blush Beauty Lounge, and it was amazing. The lounge was so beautiful, the staff was extremely accommodating, and it was the perfect way to start our trip. After our tan, we were hungry for lunch so we headed over to Cow Girl Kitchen in Rosemary Beach. It is a great spot to grab a quick lunch and a good cocktail. The food is fantastic, and you will not be disappointed! For dinner festivities, we stopped by The Pearl for a fancy cocktail before picking up pizza from Bruno's on the way home. It was delicious!
Day 2
This is where the days start getting packed with so many fun activities! We started off the day by swinging by one of my favorite spots, the Modica Market. If you have never been you must go check it out. They have the best to-go mimosas and breakfast sandwiches. They also have amazing food finds and craft beers. After this we headed over to one of the absolute best lunch spots!
OH MY GOSH YUM! Chiringo not only has a beautiful roof top with an ocean view, but the food is out of this world! We had the absolute best service and just an overall fabulous dining experience. I would highly recommend any of the taco combinations, and you can't go wrong with any of the cocktails. Also, the snapper dip is probably the best I have had on 30a, so definitely snag some while you are there! If you are trying to find a good lunch spot for your bach party, this is a great spot! We actually ran into some guys having a Bachelor party while we were there, it is such a fun place. On to the next spot!
As I mentioned before, The Pearl is one of my all time favorite spots on 30a. It has such a swanky vibe. The white architecture and roof top bar that surrounds a gorgeous pool is something to see. We had a a beautiful cabana on The Havana Beach Rooftop Lounge and had wonderful appetizers and champagne that seriously hit the spot! If you are looking for a great spot to stay on your next vacation, I would highly recommend you check out The Pearl. They also have a really great brunch that is worth trying out on your next vacation. Okay on to dinner!
The Surfing Deer is where we ate dinner on night 2, and any beach trip we take is not complete unless we make time for a meal here. It is such an elegant restaurant with an airy, stylish, and an upscale beachy vibe. They have a happy hour that will blow your mind and the cocktails are seriously BEAUTIFUL. The food is presented perfectly, and it is almost too pretty to eat.. almost. We split the bacon strips, a charcuterie board, lobster tacos, and truffle fries for our appetizers and every bite was delightful. I would recommend getting their delicious crab cakes for dinner; they were very delicious. If you are wanting to sit on the porch I would definitely make reservations. We always try to make them around 5:30-6:00ish so you can partake in the happy hour and watch the sunset. On to the last spot of the night!
Talk about the perfect way to wrap up a day full of good food, good cocktails, sunshine, and friends! Live Well 30A put on a fantastic Beach bonfire for us, and it was a blast. When we arrived, the chairs were set up ready to go, the fire was perfect, and all the s'more makings were calling our name. It was seriously the perfect way to end the day. This would be such a fabulous event to book for a family night, girls trip, or a pre-wedding party. My husband's sister had a beach bonfire for one of her wedding parties and it was EPIC. You can check out their merchandise and book more than just bonfires on their website! On to day 2!
Day 3
We started off day 3 by hitting up the food trucks in Seaside. Of course, we stopped at the donut truck to get the goods to fuel us for the day. This spot has become a pretty popular picture spot. There are so many cute restaurants and shops by the food trucks that are a must to check out!
After we hit up the food trucks for a morning treat, we headed off to The Great Southern Cafe for Brunch/Lunch. They are well-known for their fantastic brunch and mojitos. They have a variety of eggs benedicts and their Shrimp A Ya Ya is out of this world. This was the perfect spot to wrap up an early lunch before our big night out in Alys Beach!
Caliza Restaurant in Ayls Beach is EVERYTHING. If you are looking for a night out to wine and dine and have an experience unlike anything else, you must add this to your vacation itinerary. This is a poolside dining experience that has total Grecian vibes. Alys beach is known for its beautiful, all white architecture and it continues inside this one of a kind restaurant. We were able to tryout almost the entire menu, including some special summer menu items. Every dish was a home run. The service was impeccable. Sandy, our waiter, gave us the full background of the restaurant and absolutely made our dining experience. At the end of our meal, the chef came out to meet us, and it really made our night even more special! The flavors of each dish were truly delightful. I cannot wait to go back next time we are on 30A.
